Mac Users Please Note: EBSCO has introduced a PDF Viewer within all of its databases. The purpose of the PDF Viewer is to streamline the browsing of an entire issue, or all available volumes and issues, from one screen. While looking at a full text PDF article from a particular journal, you can see a list of all other full text articles from that issue of the journal, and you can expand your view to other issues, as well. Once you've selected a different issue of the journal, its table of contents is opened and you can see links to all articles within that issue, all within the same screen. Ebsco offers a demonstration video that further explains the new features. While the PDF Viewer works well within Internet Explorer and Firefox (Windows), it does cause a problem with full text PDF access if you use Firefox on a Mac. If you are running Mac OSX 10.4 or higher, and use Firefox as your browser, you will need to download a free PDF plugin in order to view PDFs. |
