Accreditation
Accreditation is a rigorous process conducted by the body, which governs an activity, such as the American Medical Association and doctors, certifying that the graduates of that program meet the standards set forth by the governing body. It is a way to hold institutions accountable for the quality of their programs.
Accreditation allows other colleges and universities to whom our graduates apply to be assured that our programs are properly structured and are taught by properly credentialed faculty.
Regional Accreditation
Columbus Technical College is accredited by the Commission
on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to
award associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit.
Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia
30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of

is evidence that appears to support an institution's significant non-compliance
with a requirement or standard.
